Phnom Penh: His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, has conveyed an inspiring address of deep appreciation and love for mothers in a royal message marking Mother's Day. According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the King emphasised that Mother's Day serves as a reminder of the immeasurable and priceless sacrifices made by mothers, who devote their physical and emotional strength to raising and nurturing their children selflessly, without complaint. Mothers embody loving-kindness, compassion, empathetic joy, and equanimity in caring for their children, he wrote. He advised his subjects to honor and repay the kindness of their mothers, recognising their unwavering love and indescribable devotion. King Norodom Sihamoni also highlighted the indispensable role of mothers in preserving, protecting, promoting, and developing Cambodia's rich customs, traditions, and cultural identity.
