Phnom Penh's Olympic Stadium will host Cambodia-Japan Charity Fight on May 10, 2024 to raise funds to support Cambodian orphans. According to a recent press conference, the event will be organised by TV Tower in cooperation with the Cambodian Boxing Federation (CBF). Mr. Meas Vichet, CEO of LDST Development (Cambodia) Co. Ltd., which owns TV Tower, said that the tickets for the match will be given out free of charge. Donation boxes will be installed at the venue so that kickboxing fans can donate, and all the received amount will be used to support Cambodian orphans. A Japanese professional boxer, he added, has volunteered to train the Cambodian orphans interested in the sport after the match. Under Secretary of State for the Ministry of National Defence H.E. Tem Moeun, who is also CBF Honorary President, was positive that the match is an opportunity for the boxers of Cambodia and Japan not only to exchange their experience and skills but also to build their professional ties.
