ALOR SETAR, Al-Aminul Karim Sultan Sallehuddin Sultan Badlishah graced the Aidilfitri celebration with the Sultan of Kedah and the royal family at Istana Anak Bukit here today. The Sultan was accompanied by the Sultanah of Kedah Sultanah Maliha Tengku Ariff, Raja Muda of Kedah Tengku Sarafudin Badlishah Sultan Sallehuddin and Tunku Mahkota of Kedah Tunku Shazuddin Ariff Sultan Sallehuddin. Also present were Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor, State Assembly speaker Zubir Ahmad, state secretary Datuk Seri Norizan Khazali and Exco members. Two former Kedah Menteri Besar Tan Sri Osman Aroff and Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid as well as state and federal department heads were also in attendance. Among the attendees were Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama) chief executive officer Nur-ul Afida Kamaludin, The New Straits Times Press group managing editor Datuk Ahmad Zaini Kamaruzzaman and New Straits Times group editor Farrah Naz Karim.
