KUCHING, Kuching City FC secured three crucial points to remain in fourth place in the Super League by defeating Kelantan Darul Naim FC 1-0 at the State Stadium here tonight. The only goal of the match, which was played in rainy conditions, was scored in the 36th minute by Jordan Mintah, who headed in a cross from Amir Amri Salleh from the right. Kuching City dominated most of the match, creating several dangerous chances, but Kelantan's goalkeeper Khatul Annuar Md Jalil frustrated the home team from adding to the tally. The prowess of the home team's goalkeeper, Mohd Shahril Sa'ari, was also evident as he successfully thwarted several attempts by the visiting team, and Kuching City's defence remained solid until the final whistle was blown by referee Firdaus Dahlan.
