HL Mando turns to black in Q4

SEOUL, HL Mando Co. on Monday reported its fourth-quarter net profit of 40.7 billion won (US$30.6 million), turning from a loss of 89 billion won a year earlier. Operating income for the October-December period was 50.6 billion won, down 11 percent from a year ago, the company said in a regulatory filing. Sales rose 0.4 percent to 2.19 trillion won. The operating profit was 40.0 percent lower than the average estimate, according to a survey by Yonhap Infomax, the financial data firm of Yonhap News Agency.
