Professor Chheang Ra, Minister of Health, lauded the bravery and sacrifices of the nation’s soldiers, declaring that “every wound sustained by our heroic troops stands as a mark of honour-a testament to their service in safeguarding Cambodia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.”
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the Minister delivered his remarks during an Aug. 7 inspection visit to the Khmer-Soviet Friendship Hospital, where he and senior ministry officials assessed the treatment and recovery of wounded soldiers. He highlighted these efforts as a reflection of national solidarity, professional collaboration, and Cambodia’s commitment to strengthening medical capacity-particularly for those wounded in defense of the nation.
