Bukit Aman Internal Security and Public Order Department director Datuk Seri Mohd Kamarudin Md Din said out of the total, RM14.4 million was given to the GOF Central Brigade to implement the projects, with RM6.89 million spent by GOF 4th Battalion on 21 repair projects and to upgrade 16 control posts along the coast of Selangor. "This is a continuous effort by the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) to improve infrastructure to create a more comfortable and conducive workspace for those in the GOF 4th Battallion,' he said during the officiation of the GOF 4th Battallion Base here today, which was also attended by Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan and Bukit Aman Internal Security and Public Order Department deputy director (operations) Datuk Yusoff Mamat. "No matter how great policies, laws and systems we have, if officers entrusted with implementing them lack integrity, surely it will not be successful. "Therefore, let me stress again that the issue of integrity needs to be prioritised. I believe with high integrity and values, we will always be in line with PDRM's mission of providing professional and quality service in protecting the country to ensure a safe, peaceful and prosperous society,' he said. The Semenyih GOF 4th Battallion Base started construction on Dec 15, 2006 and was completed on May 19, 2009, with a cost of RM315 million.
