Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MFAIC) hosted here on July 17 the 7th General Assembly of the Conseil de Promotion de la Francophonie au Cambodge (CPFC) or Council for the Promotion of the Francophonie in Cambodia. The meeting was chaired by H.E. SOK Chenda Sophea, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of MFAIC with the participation of numerous French-speaking stakeholders, including representatives of ministries and public Institutions, French-speaking embassies, higher education institutions, the business community and the media. According to MFAIC, the session began with an introduction to the major activities organised on the occasion of the XIXth Francophonie Summit in Villers-Cotterêts, France, in 2024, as well as preparations for the hosting of the XXth Francophonie Summit in 2026 in Cambodia. Participants were also able to present the Francophonie activities carried out in 2023-2024 in their respective areas. The discussion focused on youth, education and training, and the a ctions undertaken in relations to Francophonie and reflected the considerable progress made by Francophonie in Cambodia through continued efforts by all Francophonie stakeholders.
