SEOUL, Foreign Minister Cho Tae-yul has tested positive for COVID-19, a ministry official said Monday. Cho was confirmed with the coronavirus over the weekend, according to the official. Earlier in the day, First Vice Foreign Minister Kim Hong-kyun visited a traditional market in Mapo, western Seoul, ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday in Cho's place. Cho has also postponed a policy meeting for small and medium-sized firms that was slated for Tuesday. Source: Yonhap News Agency
