The number of Kedah flood victims placed at two temporary evacuation centres (PPS) in the Pendang district remains at 207 people from 49 families as of 8 pm today. According to the Social Welfare Department's (JKM) Disaster Info report, 188 people from 42 families are sheltering at the Tanah Merah Rakan Sukan complex while 19 others from seven families are staying at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Pendang. Meanwhile, based on the Department of Irrigation and Drainage's Public Infobanjir website, as of 8 pm today, the water level of Sungai Laka in Kampung Padang Pasir, Kubang Pasu has exceeded the danger level of 22.47 metres while other rivers in Kedah were at normal levels.
