KUALA LUMPUR, The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed mostly lower today. August 2024 fell 0.5 of-a-point to 1,616.50, September 2024 eased 1.0 point to 1,597.00, December 2024 slid 1.0 point to 1,602.50, and March 2025 added 1.0 point to 1,588.50. Turnover decreased to 6,435 lots from 7,480 on Wednesday while open interest dropped to 45,579 contracts from 46,573 previously. At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI was 0.04 per cent or 0.59 of-a-point higher at 1,612.94 from Wednesday's close of 1,612.35. Source: BERNAMA News Agency
