KUALA LUMPUR, The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended mostly lower today due to last-minute selling in the underlying cash market. Spot month September 2024 slipped 0.5 of-a-point to 1,630.5, October 2024 was 1.0 points easier to 1,635.0, December 2024 advanced 0.5 of-a-point to 1,639.5, while March 2025 reduced 2.0 points to 1,624.5. Turnover narrowed to 7,945 lots from 8,330 lots yesterday, while open interest inched up 54,227 contracts from 54,133 contracts previously. At 5 pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) erased 1.49 points, or 0.09 per cent, to 1,638.31 from yesterday's close of 1,639.80. Source: BERNAMA News Agency
