KUALA LUMPUR: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today. Spot month August 2024 and March 2025 slid 12.0 points to 1,619.0 and 1,600.0, respectively, September 2024 shed 11.5 points to 1,600.5, and December 2024 fell 8.5 points to 1,609.5. Turnover improved to 10,184 lots from 6,394 lots on Thursday, while open increased to 53,986 contracts from 50,296 contracts previously. At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI declined 13.20 points or 0.81 per cent to 1,611.05 from yesterday's close of 1,624.25. Source: BERNAMA News Agency
