KUALA LUMPUR, The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today, in sync with the underlying cash market. Spot month September 2024 shed 3.0 points to 1,660.0, October 2024 and December 2024 slid 2.0 points each to 1,664.0 and 1,667.5, respectively, and March 2025 slipped by 3.5 points to 1,653.5. Turnover was higher at 6,929 lots from 6,676 on Monday, while open interest widened to 47,884 contracts from 47,528 previously. At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI eased 1.54 points to 1,676.65, down from Monday's close of 1,678.19. Source: BERNAMA News Agency
