SEOUL, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg is planning to visit South Korea at the end of this month in what would be his first visit to the country in more than 10 years, officials said Wednesday. The details of his itinerary are not yet known, but the executive chairman of Meta Platforms, Facebook's parent company, could meet with Samsung Electronics Co. Chairman Lee Jae-yong, as he did during his previous trip to South Korea in June 2013. Meta has also requested a meeting between Zuckerberg and President Yoon Suk Yeol, and the presidential office is "positively considering" it, a presidential official told Yonhap News Agency.
