Dr. Chheng Kimlong has become the New President of the Asian Vision Institute (AVI) in replacement of Dr. Chheang Vannarith. The office assumption of Dr. Chheng Kimlong as President of the Institute from Jan. 1, 2024 onward was announced by AVI in a press statement released on Jan. 4 'Dr. Chheng Kimlong has replaced Dr. Chheang Vannarith, former President, at the approval of Dr. Sok Siphana, Chairman of the Board of Directors,' it said. As the new President of AVI, the source continued, Dr. Chheng Kimlong will carry out his duties and responsibilities to the best of his potential and capabilities to ensure the smooth operations, organisations and functioning of the Institute.
