Ambassador of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) to Cambodia H.E. Jang Yun Gon has commended the rapid progress of Cambodia as well as her achievements, especially in maintaining peace and stability. H.E. Ambassador made the commendation while paying a courtesy call on Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, at the Peace Palace in Phnom Penh this morning. H.E. Jang Yun Gon recalled the long-standing relationship between the DPRK and Cambodia, nurtured by DPRK's late supreme leader H.E. Kim Il-sung and His Majesty the late King-Father of Cambodia, Samdech Preah Norodom Sihanouk. This year marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, and the ambassador is committed to further strengthening and expanding the cooperation between both nations. For his part, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet spoke highly of the role played by H.E. Jang Yun Gon in maintaining the relations and cooperation between the two coun tries, and encouraged H.E.
