Kampong speu: Lok Chumteav Dr. Pich Chanmony Hun Manet, Permanent Vice-President of the Cambodian Red Cross (CRC), today led a major humanitarian distribution for 1,329 highly vulnerable families across four districts and city in Kampong Speu province.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the aid recipients were identified as the most vulnerable households in Oral district (316 families), Thpong district (334 families), Oudong Me Chey city (311 families), and Samaky Monichey district (368 families).
Each family received a comprehensive relief package, including 30 kilogrammes of rice, a case of instant noodles, 10 cans of canned fish, a quantity of daily necessities, and 20,000 Riel roughly (US$5) in cash.
In her remarks, Lok Chumteav Dr. Pich Chanmony Hun Manet underscored the CRC’s ongoing commitment to supporting Cambodia’s most at-risk communities. She highlighted that the aid was made possible through the support of the CRC, under the leadership of its Honorary President, Her Majesty the Queen Mother Norodom Monineath Sihanouk, and President Samdech Kittiprittpundit Bun Rany Hun Sen.
