CITADEL GROUP GIVES BACK TO COMMUNITY WITH YEAR-END CHARITABLE DONATION TO PBPMNS

KUALA LUMPUR, Citadel Group has donated RM11,000 to the Selangor Malaysian Ex-Police Association (PBPMNS) for the procurement of hospital beds and wheelchairs as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) programmes.

Citadel Group in a statement said the impactful initiative not only signifies the company's dedication to community support but stands as a tangible expression of gratitude towards those who have tirelessly served in safeguarding the nation.

“The annual charitable initiative by Citadel Group underscores the company's unwavering commitment to enhancing community welfare. It embodies this philosophy, consistently selecting meaningful causes to support those in need,” it said.

It said over the years, Citadel’s contributions have made a tangible impact on the lives of countless individuals and this donation to PBPMNS, specifically allocated for hospital beds and wheelchairs, aims to enhance retired Malaysian police personnel’s quality of life by providing essential healthcare amenities.

Citadel Group chairman and chief executive officer Datuk Jeff S. Medina said the group are privileged to honour the retired police personnel who have dedicated their lives to serving the community.

“This annual charitable initiative is our humble way of expressing gratitude and providing support to those who have selflessly served,” he said.

According to the statement, the company remains committed to making a meaningful and lasting impact on society, reinforcing its ethos of giving back and supporting those in need.

The group’s past initiatives include providing funds for the purchase of rubber boats to aid in the Shah Alam floods as well as contributing towards the purchase of one ambulance, which was utilised during the Batang Kali landslide incident, playing a crucial role in emergency response efforts.
