H.E. KUNG Phoak, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, ASEAN SOM Leader and the Eminent Person for High Level Task Force on ASEAN Community's Post-2025 Vision (HLTF-ACV) of Cambodia, led the delegation to attend the 16th Meeting of the HLTF-ACV from July 31 to Aug. 3, 2024 in Melaka, Malaysia. The Meeting discussed and reviewed the progress of drafting the ASEAN Political-Security Community (APSC) Strategic Plan for ASEAN Community's Post 2025, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in a news release issued on the evening of Aug. 5. The HLTF-ACV also had joint interfaces with the Chairman of the Institute of Strategic and International Studies (ISIS) Malaysia, and the Secretary General of the ASEAN Mayors Forum Secretariat, in order to collect more input to ensure that the said draft Strategic Plan is as comprehensive as possible, the source continued. Furthermore, it added, the HLTF-ACV also met with the Chair of the HLTF on ASE AN Economic Integration (HLTF-EI), the Co-Chairs of Ad Hoc Working Group on the Development of ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community (ASCC) Post-2025 Strategic Plan, and the Chair of ASEAN Connectivity Coordinating Committee (ACCC) to share views and update on their work progress across respective Strategic Plans and ASEAN Connectivity.
