Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet of Cambodia has encouraged the armed forces to further enhance their activities on military diplomacy. 'Military diplomacy is important in maintaining peace and friendship between countries and build more mutual trust and understanding,' he said at the celebration of the 25th founding anniversary of the Royal Cambodian Army Command (Jan. 24, 1999 - Jan. 24, 2024). 'The more we do the military diplomacy, the more our army will be able to strengthen their capabilities to tackle common issues such as transnational crimes, drugs, and terrorism,' the Premier explained. Cambodia has so far applied military diplomacy with many countries such as Japan, China, Korea, ASEAN nations and so on, Samdech Thipadei said, calling on all stakeholders to continue this mission.
