Phnom Penh: Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia, this morning reacted against a shadow government abroad: While presiding over the inauguration ceremony of the 12,645-metre-long Techo Santepheap Angkol Beach Road in Kep province, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet stated that the formation of a shadow government is merely an attempt to elevate political events orchestrated by politicians living in exile. According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the Prime Minister criticized the shadow government, highlighting that it disrespects the over 8.2 million citizens who participated in the recent election, as well as the constitution to which these politicians once pledged allegiance. He emphasized that this initiative comes at a time when both supporters at home and abroad have lost faith in these exiled politicians. In his address, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet urged the public to remain vigilant and to avoid actions that could undermine the democratic will of the majority who took part in the el ectoral process.
