Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet received in Vientiane, Lao PDR on Oct. 10 Prof. Klaus Schwab, Founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum (WEF), on the sidelines of 44th and 45th ASEAN Summits and Related Summits. In the courtesy meeting, the WEF executive chairman thanked Samdech Thipadei for attending the WEF meeting in Davos, Switzerland earlier this year. Taking this opportunity, he invited the Cambodian Premier to participate in this annual forum again, scheduled to be held in early 2025. Prof. Klaus Schwab also briefed Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet on the potential of the WEF, stressing that it offers an opportunity to build a network of public-private partnerships. For his part, Samdech Thipadei Prime Minister congratulated the WEF on its success so far. He also thanked Prof. Klaus Schwab for inviting him to attend the WEF Annual Meeting next year.
