VIENTIANE: H.E. KUNG Phoak, Secretary of State at Cambodia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, led his delegation to participate in the 19th meeting of the High-Level Task Force on ASEAN Community’s Post-2025 Vision in Vientiane, Laos.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the meeting, held on December 10-11, focused on advancing the ASEAN Political-Security Community Strategic Plan as part of the ASEAN Community Vision 2045. The discussions represented a significant milestone in finalizing the plan, which aims to ensure political-security stability across the ASEAN member states.

The task force also engaged with leaders from various ASEAN strategic groups, including the Chair of the High-Level Task Force on ASEAN Economic Integration, Co-Chairs of the Ad Hoc Working Group on the Development of the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community Post-2025 Strategic Plan, and both current and incoming Chairs of the ASEAN Connectivity Coordinating Committee. These interactions aimed to align and syner
gize the strategic plans being developed across different sectors of the ASEAN Community.

Furthermore, the meeting included a session with the ASEAN Youth Organisation to explore ways in which young people can contribute to the future of ASEAN.
