Cambodia and Canada have discussed ways to promote bilateral trade in agriculture and agri-food filed of both countries to the next level. The discussion was held here on Aug. 27 between H.E. RATH Saravuth, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Commerce, and visiting Ms. Diedrah Kelly, Executive Director of the Canadian Indo Pacific Agriculture and Agri-Food Office (IPAAO), based in Manila, the Philippines. During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the procedures for the exports and imports of the agriculture and agri-food, and food safety in Cambodia. They also discussed the possibility of establishing a clear and formal mechanism to promote bilateral trade in the above-said area through organising business matching (B2B), trade fairs, and building up the relations between the chamber of commerce of the two countries.
