Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation H.E. SOK Chenda Sophea held here on Feb. 6 a discussion with H.E. Pengiran Kasmirhan Bin Pengiran Haji Tahir, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to the Kingdom of Cambodia. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, during the courtesy meeting, H.E. the Deputy Prime Minister and H.E. the Ambassador recalled the successful State Visit of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, to Cambodia in 2022 and the fruitful outcomes of bilateral meeting between Samdech Thipadei Prime Minister with His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah on the sidelines of the 43rd ASEAN Summit and Related Summits in Jakarta in September 2023. Both sides affirmed their commitment to further promoting bilateral relations and cooperation between Cambodia and Brunei in many fields, es pecially trade and investment, agriculture, tourism, and culture.
