Phnom Penh: The organising committee of the Women Run 10K held a press conference this morning, under the auspices of H.E. Vath Chamroeun, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports and Secretary-General of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia. The annual event, dedicated to celebrating International Women's Day and promoting female participation in sports, is set to take place on Mar. 8, 2025, in front of Wat Botum Vattey Park. According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, organisers have called for more participants to register, as over 2,000 runners have already signed up. With growing enthusiasm, the Women Run 10K continues to serve as a platform to empower women in athletics and encourage broader community engagement in sports.
