Cambodia and Hungary to Bolster Water Resources Cooperation

Cambodia and Hungary are committed to further boosting the development of water resources in Cambodia.

The commitment was made in a meeting between H.E. Thor Chetha, Minister of Water Resources and Meteorology, and H.E. Tibor Balogh, Ambassador of Hungary, at the ministry on Oct. 5.

The two sides spoke highly of the good collaboration on water resources, recalling a joint Memorandum of Understanding back in 2020 on water resources cooperation focusing on water resources, water and waste water management, as well as education, research, and development related to water.

They also agreed to leverage the joint technical group under a MoU to foster cooperation.
