E-commerce licence is available for applicants, given the rise of the need for online buying and selling of goods and for other e-services.
H.E. Pan Sorasak, Minister of Commerce chaired an official launch of Automated System to Apply for E-Commerce Licence on June 14.
The minister laid stress on the importance of e-commerce in the era of digital economy as well as Industrial Revolution 4.0.
It would also ease transaction, save time, avoid unnecessary commission for public service fees, and build trust among service providers and users, he added.
He acknowledged a collaboration between the General Department of Trade Promotion of Ministry of Commerce and INTECH DEV Co., Ltd. for making the system available.
