As a core partner for Cambodia's clean energy transition, Australia is promoting a green and secure energy future in Cambodia through evidence-based planning and policy making, sharing lessons learned and piloting energy projects. According to a news release of the Australian Embassy in Cambodia issued on Sept. 17, recently, H.E. Derek Yip, Australian Ambassador to Cambodia, visited EnergyLab Cambodia, an impact organisation dedicated to accelerating Cambodia's clean energy transition. The visit was a valuable opportunity to learn more about EnergyLab's work and discuss a shared vision for advancing renewable energy initiatives to meet the country's climate targets and support economic growth, the same source added. EnergyLab Cambodia is an innovative and efficient not-for-profit organisation working to support the growth of Clean Energy markets. Its initiatives have made a positive impact on the clean energy industry, contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, job creation, diversificatio n of Cambodia's energy sources, and overall economic development and community poverty reduction.
