PUTRAJAYA, All licensing applications under the Land Public Transport Agency (APAD) will use the Commercial Vehicle Licensing System (iSPKP) online starting on Friday (Nov 24).
The agency said today that applications can be made through the link https://iportal.ispkp.gov.my/ or the official APAD website https://www.apad.gov.my/.
The iSPKP, which includes new applications, cancellations, and printing permits will be fully used to replace the old manual system, the agency added.
"APAD would like to inform all industry players and our customers that there will not be any manual transactions at the counter after Nov 23, 2023.
"All industry players and our customers are required to register online in advance to enable all matters such as mentioned above to be easily accessed," the agency said.
APAD said three months ago, it began The agency also started an iSPKP awareness programme three months ago for the benefit of the potential users and testing of the system had been done since July.
"The digitalisation of the service will speed up transactions and reduce the need for dealings at the counter," it said.
