The American Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia (AmCham) is committed to working together with Cambodia’s Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training to increase labour productivity and attract more U.S. investment to Cambodia.

The commitment was made by Mr. Carsey Burnett, President of AmCham, during a meeting with H.E. Heng Sour, Minister of Labour and Vocational Training, at the ministry on Jun 3.

H.E. Heng Sour and Mr. Carsey Burnett discussed the challenges and solutions to advance Cambodia’s workforce that will fit job demand by investors from the U.S..

The two also agreed to collaborate on skill diversification in Cambodia.

According to H.E. Heng Sour, the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training is providing vocational technical training for Cambodian labour, especially youth.
