Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet held talks in Davos, Switzerland on Jan. 17 with Mr. John Riady, CEO of Lippo Group, a large Indonesian conglomerate, on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2024 in Davos, Switzerland. On the occasion, Mr. John Riady told Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet that his company is interested in investing in providing affordable and quality health service and low-cost housing development in Cambodia. For his part, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet expressed his optimism that the Indonesian company will possibly invest in Cambodia as the Royal Government's Pentagonal Strategy-Phase 1 pays high attention to health, education, digital and other priority sectors. The Cambodian Premier also laid stress on the Royal Government's policies and incentives for the foreign investors and encouraged Lippo Group to cooperate with local companies to invest in Cambodia. Lippo Group is one of Asia's largest and most diversified conglomerates. This company ha s been invested in real estate, retail, hospitality and leisure, healthcare, education, media and news, telecommunications, digital technologies and financial services.
