Cambodia and Ukraine are committed to further strengthening and expanding their bilateral cooperation for the benefit of both peoples and countries.

The commitment was emphasised by H.E. Mrs. Eat Sophea, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Personal Advisor to Prime Minister Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, and H.E. Oleksandr Gaman, Ambassador of Ukraine to Cambodia with residence in Hanoi, in their meeting at the ministry’s office in Phnom Penh on Aug. 2.

The discussion covered potential areas of cooperation under bilateral and multilateral frameworks, pointed out the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation’s news release made public this morning.

H.E. Oleksandr Gaman expressed high appreciation to Cambodia for its firm stand on the principles of international law and the United Nations Charter in relations to the ongoing war in Ukraine, and for providing support to Ukraine in humanitarian mine action.
